Offered by DGSN (Directorate General of National Security) and translated as My digital identity | Mon e-ID in English, هويتي الرقمية | Mon e-ID is a free utility app that enables individuals from Morocco to authenticate their identity using their Moroccan residence card or national electronic identity card.
For devices with or without NFC readers
With your device’s NFC reader, the identity verification process in هويتي الرقمية | Mon e-ID is simplified to scanning the card or typing the CAN code. However—if your device does not have an NFC reader—you can go to the official portal via an NFC-supported unit or a CEDI kiosk.
Unfortunately, some users are unsatisfied with the app’s services due to a number of factors, including authentication problems or issues with accessing the program after completing the verification process. Despite it offering convenience, these technical hiccups make the app not so seamless to use.
